Thoughts on Love
What use is my love if it is limited to adoring what is already adorable?
“Lovable” people have a cup that runneth over, while those deemed “deplorable” sip not.
Irony- When we are the most desperate for love we are often the most “unlovable” (pitiful, old, sick and unattractive). When we adore ourselves plenty, we attract an excess of adoration.
If love was ruled by osmosis- flowing from areas of greater concentration to areas of lesser concentration- equality would reign.
Love, like money, tends to pool up around certain seasons, situations and people- leaving others in a desolate desert.
Even the most deserted can bloom after a little rain.
I’d like to send my love to the deserts.
I want to love deplorables- dirty addicts, mosquitoes, bullies, and even myself most days. I’d like to adore elderly, disabled, and ugly-stinky-old pets (even when they are incontinent.)
I want my love to be brave enough to go where no love has gone before.

Wise thoughts for an unfair world.
Jodi, you are eloquently wise! I think you have an amazing amount of empathy. Peace to you!
